Welcome to Star Day Nursery Woolwich
Our Nursery is divided into 5 areas and as our children develop, they move into the next area, which would enhance their learning and cater to their needs. Our Babies begin as ‘Little Buds’, developing into ‘Acorns’ and ‘Olives’, then they make their way up to ‘Willow’ our active toddler room and then to ‘Oak’, our independent Preschool which prepares them for ‘Big School’. Each section of our nursery has a qualified teacher who leads the staff; we call them the ‘Room Leaders’.
Star Day Nursery Woolwich has a HUGE outdoor space that the children play in daily. Like our rooms, our garden is spacious, colorful and well equipped for hours of fun. Our garden provides a free flow area for the toddlers and Pre School, as well as a sensory area for the babies. The choice of what to play with is endless in our garden, from bikes, trikes, sand pits, trampolines, climbing frames, sea saws and many more, your child will always be excited to play in our garden.

Located in Powys Street, the heart of Woolwich, our nursery couldn't be better situated for easy commute for parents. Woolwich Arsenal overground and DLR stations are less that 7 minutes walk fro our nursery.
Our children enjoy healthy, delicious meals prepared on site by our talented chef. We would like to thank all our parents who contributed to developing our healthy menu.
Star day nursery Woolwich is headed by experienced and qualified Managers and deputy managers. Each child is allocated a Key Person who is responsible for ensuring that they receive a high standard of care and education. This is the main person with whom the parents would liaise with on matters concerning their child. Additionally all senior members of staff are available daily to speak to concerning any matters. All our staff hold a recognised certificate in childcare and have an enhanced CRB disclosure certificate. Members of our team are also qualified first aiders, ensuring that children have access to the best care at all times.
